At Chisholm Elementary we strive to integrate technology into all aspects of curriculum.  Students utilize 25 networked computer stations in our Multi-media lab  (M&M Lab1) for whole-class activities. We are happy to announce that the M&M Lab2 in the New Wing is now operational with 26 networked computer stations!  We also have grade level pods (8-12 networked stations per grade level) for small group or individual lessons.   Students use computer stations to explore, research, create, and discover in all subject areas.  Each classroom has a mounted projector or 32 inch monitor with learning station for presentations, group internet research and CD/DVD access.

The New Lab is Open!! 

Merci! Gracias! Thank you to our incredible PTO!  Exciting things are happening with the Technology at Chisholm.  We appreciate the generosity of our Chisholm PTO!  Through their support from the Fundraiser and a generous donation from the Hughes Family, computers have been installed for the New 2nd Computer Lab (M&M Lab2) in the New Addition.  The Edmond Public School District matched our purchase of thirteen computers to give us the most up-to-date  Lab with 26 stations.  This is combined with the new Technology placed in the Spring and Summer to give us a total of  fourteen Smartboards and 23  classrooms with ceiling mounted projectors.   We want to say a big Thank you also to Guy Strunk and Alexander and Strunk Insurance for their donation of two of these Smartboards.  This assisted us in completing the first phase of our Technology Plan early by having at least one Smartboard in Grade 1 – 5.  Plus we have been able to move on with our plan by adding additional Smartboards in the upper grades.   The next emphasis for new Technology will be in the 1st and 2nd grades.  Tell your students to watch for new Technology Coming Soon!
