Cadets in the OK-081st participate daily by attending class in either Aerospace Science I, II, III, or IV, depending on their position in The Corps. Cadets also have the option of being a part of the Support Staff or Flight Staff, allowing them to build their leadership skills.

Cadets in Aerospace Science I learn about the history of flight and the basics of marching in formation. At the end of the year, first-year cadets have the option of taking the flight sergeant's test.
