The OK-081st plays an active role in our community. Our various contributions include food and blood drives and reading to elementary school students.

Haiti Relief Drive


One of our most recent food drives was dedicated to providing assistance to those in need in Haiti. Non-perishable food, water, and blankets were dropped off at the ROTC building and then sent to the Red Cross. The effort was featured by News 9 in a story and an interview video placed on their website (see http://www.news9.com/Global/story.asp?S=11852089).

Kitty Hawk Air Society


Many of the community projects completed by the OK-081st are organized by the Kitty Hawk Air Society. Kitty Hawk Air Society, or KHAS, is an organization composed of the best and brightest cadets of all of the Air Force Junior ROTC groups. KHAS hosts annual food drives and participates in various community improvement activities.
