Santa Fe “Live” 2010

September 2, 2010      6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

 

This year Open House will have a new and exciting format.  The evening will be filled with events and stations for you to visit.   Teachers’ classrooms will be just one stop along the way.  You will be free to walk the building, meet your student’s teachers, watch student performances in the big gym, attend informational meetings in the auditorium, and visit the many activity tables that will be lining our hallways. We have planned the evening very carefully to help make a pleasurable evening for you as a parent and to acquaint you with the many wonderful things that make Santa Fe the special place that it is.   Here’s what you can expect:

 

You will receive general information about Santa Fe as you enter the building in the form of a large envelope.  You can then use this to collect information about Santa Fe from the teachers, activity sponsors, counselors, and speakers.

  • Teachers will be available in the hallways and in their classrooms. 
  • Tables for clubs and organizations will line the main halls (east, west, and back). 
  •  Football Chili Cook-off will be held in the cafeteria from 5:30 – 7:00.  
  • A counselor station, PIV station, and cafeteria station will also be available for parents. 
  • A schedule for the evening along with your child’s class schedule is located on the back.

Mega Fan: Dress from head to toe in your favorite team apparel!

 

TUESDAY

Tie Dye: Wear a tie dyed shirt

 

WEDNESDAY

Western: wear cowboy hats/boots, plaid shirts, overalls etc.

Club Expo during both lunches in the back hall.

 

THURSDAY

Backwards: wear all your clothes backwards!

Pick creatively

 

FRIDAY

Spirit T-shirt: wear the Beat Memorial/Beat North
