EnvirDgs

We are the Environmental Club of Edmond Memorial High School.  Our goal is to increase environmental awareness within our community by providing campus-wide and event recycling, participating in the City of Edmond Adopt-A-Street program, offering out-reach and mentoring to interested schools as well as a variety of other activities.

The EnviroDogs of EMHS began campus-wide recycling of plastics (1 and 2), aluminum, and cardboard during school year 2007-8 with the financial support of Kirkpatrick Bank.  The following year we were able to update our recycling program with a Weyerheuser Excellence in Recycling grant.
