Seuss Celebration

The CAT IS BACK!  Kindergarten and first graders celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

“I promise to read

Each day and each night.

I know it’s the key

To growing up right.

March 2nd is proclaimed  “Read Across America Day” in Edmond and throughout our great nation.  Our week starts with lots of “cats” reading and sharing their favorite Seuss books.

Do you recognize this famous cat?  Dr. David Goin “dresses up” and reads GREEN EGGS AND HAM to first graders.

Do you like green eggs and ham? Clegern cafeteria staff and Dr. David Goin say…”Try them! Try them! And you may.”

Would you eat them in a box?

We will eat them here and there.  Say! We will eat them ANYWHERE!

“At home, at school, at work, at play, reading is part of every day!

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!  Thank you for making reading fun!
