Each year, EPS holds a job fair at the district’s administration headquarters located at 1001 W. Danforth. Participants should bring several copies of their resumes and be prepared to meet with site principals for interviews. The job fairs are come-and-go, there is no registration required.

What to Expect
When you visit our job fair, come prepared with your resume and a smile. This will be an opportunity to tell administrators about your credentials and let them know why you want to teach in our schools. Flyers and other publications that contain detailed information about the district will also be available for pickup.
What Happens After the Job Fair
After the job fair, principals will review the resumes of prospective new teachers. They will check their notes from the job fair and discuss each prospective teacher’s strengths.
Check for Openings
Check the EPS website each day for new job openings. As soon as you see a position for which you qualify, submit your application. It will then become available not only to the principal at that school, but to principals at other schools.
Graduating Teachers Recruitment Reception
Each year, the district holds a Graduating Teachers Recruitment Reception. The informal reception provides an opportunity for seniors to learn more about the district’s mission and to network with administrators during a round-table discussion. The 2016 event was held in November and more than 80 prospective teachers attended. Graduating seniors also receive information about the district’s teacher orientation, peer mentoring, competitive starting salary and parental and community support.
