Edmond Public Schools will celebrate the achievements of 1,682 seniors during commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 13 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.
Commencement ceremonies are scheduled as follows:
10:00 a.m. – North High School
2:00 p.m. – Santa Fe High School
6:00 p.m. – Memorial High School
The 2017 senior class includes 103 valedictorians and 28 salutatorians. Valedictorians are students who have received all A’s and salutatorians are students who have received one B.
Edmond seniors have committed to some of the nation’s most prestigious universities including Yale, Harvard, Rice and Stanford. In addition, five students have received military appointments. Edmond North’s Colter Baca and Edmond Santa Fe’s J.T. Wullschleger will attend the Air Force Academy; Edmond North’s Cameron Hancock will attend the United States Naval Academy; and Edmond North’s Cierra Anderson and Cade Mashburn will attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
A ticket is not needed for admission to graduation ceremonies. Participants and guests are encouraged to allow extra time to get to the festivities.
