Representatives from the Oklahoma Educational Technology Trust (OETT) visited Will Rogers Elementary School Thursday, Jan. 19 to participate in a site visit and see their OETT grant in action. The $65,000 grant provides technology and professional development to students and teachers.
The grant has provided 83 iPad Air 2 devices and 81 Doink Green Screen apps.
A team of educators from Will Rogers wrote the grant collaborating for many months to complete the required paperwork.
OETT officials observed technology at work in every classroom of the school. Students and teachers worked with 17 different apps, showing the visitors reading and math centers, research, creative presentations and other applications.
