Edmond has been recognized by numerous national magazines and media outlets as a safe, clean, and affordable place to live. The “Crown Jewel” of Oklahoma as it is often called, Edmond boasts two-dozen public parks, beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods, indoor/outdoor food halls, and a thriving cultural scene that rivals those of much larger cities. Our award-winning schools are the economic driver for the community, and citizens have actively shown their support of the school district by passing 61 consecutive bond issues since the 1950s!
