Two EMHS student groups’ C-SPAN Student Cam submissions were recently selected as Honorable Mention designees. C-SPAN’s 2019 StudentCam competition asked students to create a 5-6 minute documentary on the theme, What Does it Mean to Be American?
Hope Suttles, Alyvea Sloan and Grace Fox received $250 as honorable mention winners for their documentary, “Has America Changed? Obergefell v. Hodges.”
Ford Burgess and Kaylynn Warren received $250 as honorable mention winners for their documentary, “Guns and America.”
Representatives from C-SPAN visited the school today with their C-SPAN Bus to present students with their awards.
