The 17th annual Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair was held at the Sam Noble Museum on April 1 and 2.   There were 1,421 entries for all categories which included essay, poster, books, spoken languages in individual and group categories, traditional songs, modern songs, and skits. EPS had four students place at this event.

  • EMHS student Estella Seagraves won first place with her essay on Osage Language
  • ENHS student Zitkana LaFromboise won first place in Individual Traditional Song
  • Cimarron student Karlin Tsotigh won first place in 6-8 grade Traditional Song
  • Sunset kindergartner Kambri Tsotigh (who joined the 6-8 grade group) also received a medal for Traditional Song
