The Oklahoma State Board of Education voted today, March 25, that Oklahoma students should not return to the classroom for the remainder of the current school year, as our state continues to fight the spread of COVID-19. The board instead recommended a continuous learning plan that will allow students to complete the school year at home.

The curriculum staff of Edmond Public Schools has developed plans to ensure your child will continue to have opportunities to learn and to grow academically during this unprecedented time.

We’re calling it our EPS Learning Dashboard.

The dashboard contains tips, tools, and resources to assist you at home. After the state-mandated two-week closure ends April 3, we will add important lessons weekly that align with the curriculum your child(ren) would normally be learning each week of the 4th quarter (elementary) or second semester (high school), with information for specific content areas.

Get on the dashboard, look around and see what you can find to make learning fun. Remember parents, you aren’t expected to be the expert. Start slow, have fun and enjoy!
