Tuesday and Wednesday, February 16 & 17 will be remote learning days for EPS students. Lessons will be in Canvas and students should complete them at their own pace. All district-sponsored activities have been canceled as well.
We are aware that families and staff may be experiencing internet, power, and/or water outages or other hardships during this historic storm. We ask that students simply do their best to log in and complete assignments if and when they can. As always, there is no requirement for students to complete work during typical school hours.
All district schools and most offices including the district office will be closed and EPS staff will be working from home on Tuesday and Wednesday. Since schools and some offices will not be able to answer phones, we ask that our families use email or the parent portal to connect with school staff.
Staff is prepared to serve curbside meals at Summit Middle School, Cimarron Middle School, Sunset Elementary School, and Ida Freeman Elementary school. Other schools may be added as staffing allows. Please monitor the EPS Child Nutrition website for updates.
District officials will continue to keep you updated as needed through our normal communication platforms.
Please take care of yourself and your families. Stay warm, safe, and dry!
