At its April meeting, the Board of Education named Dandy Peeler and Brandi Wheeler principals at ENHS and EMHS respectively.

The two were named to the leadership positions after the two high school’s current principals, Debreon Davis and Tony Rose, were promoted to district positions beginning this summer.

Peeler has been an assistant principal at ENHS since 2019 and also served as an assistant principal at Summit Middle School. She has numerous years of teaching and coaching experience at the high school level.

“Dandy has been an integral part of the mission and vision development at ENHS; she believes in it, and she lives it,” said Superintendent Angela Grunewald.”Edmond North needs a strong leader with a passion for students. Dandy is the person for that job.”

Wheeler has served as both the EMHS freshman academy principal and assistant principal.  She also has numerous years of experience as an assistant principal and teacher in Texas.

“Brandi has proven leadership skills and decision-making abilities,” said Grunewald. “She has been a part of the values and traditions of Memorial, yet understands the need to grow and stay current.”

Also, the Board named Stefanie Pattillo principal of Russell Dougherty Elementary to replace Dr. Penny Dilg who is retiring after serving EPS for many years.
