Current Salary Schedules

After being the first public school district in Oklahoma to pay first-year certified teachers a starting salary of $40,000 per year, Edmond Public Schools has continued to raise teacher pay. Edmond offers teachers a starting salary of $45,623. Health, life and disability insurance as well as district-paid retirement contributions, pushes a first-year teacher’s total compensation and benefits to $57,235.36. A teacher with 10 year of experience and a bachelor’s degree will make a base salary of $52,248 and $64,820.73 with compensation and benefits. Edmond Public Schools has increased special education salary schedules to 6% (Steps 0-4), 7% (Steps 5-9), and 8% (Steps 10+) above the Bachelor’s degree non-special education salary schedule.
