This week, we’re sharing how we celebrate our Eagles who RISE — Respect, Inspire, Self-Control, and Equip for Success!
One way we do this is with our monthly Eagles Nest Award, selected by teachers. Winners enjoy a pizza luncheon in the library, thanks to our amazing Parent Club. 🍕🦅
Check out our October and November winners — we’re so proud of these students for soaring high! ✨

We’re excited to share our brand-new signs that highlight our school wide expectations of R I S E: Respect, Inspire, Self-Control, and Equip for Success! These visuals help students know exactly what RISE looks like in different areas of our building, from the hallways to the lunchroom and everywhere in between.
A huge shout-out to our amazing WEB leaders who helped hang the signs and make our building shine! 🌟 Their leadership is helping our whole school RISE.
We can’t wait to see our students using these reminders to support a positive and successful school year! 📚✨

Our Student Dodgeball Tournament is coming up next week, and we can already feel the excitement building!
Students are invited to sign up and enjoy a little friendly competition with their classmates. Teams are forming now, so encourage your student to join the fun! Registration forms may be picked up in the front office, and must be turned in with the entry fee by Friday, Dec. 5th.

🎉 Fun Food Friday is HERE! 🎉
Treat yourself AND support our school at the same time! Snacks and candy will be sold for $1 - $2. Thank you to our Parent Club and all of our amazing parent volunteers for making this fundraiser possible!

These staff members go above and beyond for our students every single day. Thank you for your dedication, care, and hard work. You make a difference in so many lives! ✨

Today’s the last day to sign your 6th grader up to attend the free 6th Grade Carnival—don’t miss out on this fun event hosted with help from our awesome 8th grade WEB leaders! 🎉All students must be signed up by 3 PM today, Nov. 4th, using the link in the Family Newsletter that was emailed to all families on Nov. 2nd.

We are so grateful for our incredible principals who pour themselves into making Summit the best place it can be every single day. From supporting students and teachers to creating a positive and welcoming school environment, their dedication and leadership make a huge difference in our community.
To show our appreciation, our staff surprised them with baskets of goodies earlier this month as a small way to say thank you for everything they do to guide and inspire us all. 🏫👏

In computer science class, 6th students worked together to decide if social media post examples were safe or unsafe to share. This hands-on activity helped them practice protecting their personal information online and making smart choices with technology. 👏 Families, we would like to encourage you to take some time this weekend to talk with your student about using technology safely and responsibly!

Our students show their Summit pride by being Respectful, Inspiring Others, Practicing Self-Control, and Equipping themselves for success every single day. To celebrate their efforts, we’ll have fun dress-up days next week, ending with a RISE Assembly on Halloween! 🎃🙌

Mr. Moore and Mrs. Phagan's students were busy reviewing math concepts recently with a Gallery Walk partner activity. They moved around the classroom, collaborated with partners, and explored different problems and solutions, making review interactive and fun.
