The 2025 Celebration of Excellence was a special evening dedicated to recognizing the extraordinary employees who make a difference in our schools every day. After recognizing and honoring each school’s Teacher of the Year and Support Employee of the Year, the 2024-25 District Teacher and Support Employee of the Year were announced. We are so proud of these dedicated EPS team members who devote their careers to our incredible district.
Districtwide Honorees:
District Teacher of the Year: Taylor Belote, 3rd Grade Teacher at Heritage Elementary
District Support Employee of the Year: Colleen Grindstaff, CAII at Cross Timbers Elementary
Excellence in Leadership: Edward Hudson, EPS Director of Fine Arts
Rookie Teacher of the Year: Megan Knight, Special Education Teacher at West Field Elementary
Our talented students also treated the audience to three outstanding performances. Special thanks to the Edmond Memorial Orchestra, Edmond Memorial Historical Brass Band and the Heartland Middle School Thunderstruck Show Choir.
It was an unforgettable night filled with celebration, connection and appreciation. Congratulations to all of our honorees!
