Veterans Day was celebrated on Friday, November 8th with a reception for the veterans and their families followed by an assembly with the 8th-grade class. Colonel Otis L. Brown was our special guest speaker. Col. Brown served 30 years in the U.S. Army as a Senior Army Aviator. He served overseas during Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. Cheyenne students and faculty were also honored to meet a WWII veteran, Ed Edmiston.
