Operations

The Operations Department oversees transportation, child nutrition, maintenance, and custodial. All operations staff members embrace the concept of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and look for ways to improve services through processes, equipment, supplies/tools, and vendor participation.

Transportation

Transportation

The Edmond Public Schools transportation department operates more than 100 buses on a daily basis. Each bus runs three to four routes which usually include high school and/or middle school, followed by an early elementary and a late elementary. Our EPS transportation department staff drive about 1.5 million miles annually when you combine their daily routes with extra-curricular activities.
