Beginner Book Art by Bailey Arvizo

Available: Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Learn how to bind books! Create your own zine! Work on your very own art journal! We will explore a mixture of contemporary and traditional art techniques, working with various media to create fun new pieces. Explore both creation and destruction in an artistic environment. We will learn different bookbinding techniques as well as explore the art of alteration and zines.
There must be a minimum of 10 students enrolled in each session for the class to make. 

 

Express Yourself by Bethanie James
Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Join us for a fun and exciting class where students will explore the exciting world of arts, crafts, improv, theater, poetry, and storytelling! Each day is filled with hands-on activities, engaging games, and opportunities for self-expression through visual and performing arts. Students will build confidence, imagination, and communication skills as they create original artwork, perform skits, write poems, and work together with their peers. Let's make art, tell stories, and express ourselves!
There must be a minimum of 10 students enrolled in each session for the class to make. 

 

SM”ART” by Jalene Hawkins

Available: Session 1
Join us for an exciting week of art enrichment. We will be learning about many famous artists and their works, using a wide variety of media. Help your child foster creativity, problem-solving, and self-expression while enhancing fine motor skills, critical thinking, and social-emotional development. Oh, and don't forget the fun!

Passport to Adventure: Exploring Cultures Around the World! by Cindy Rosario

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Do you love to create and explore? Then grab your "Creative Passport" and join us for an exciting journey through art and cultures from around the globe—no plane ticket required! Young explorers will travel the world through art, music, stories, and traditions in this hands-on, interactive class. Each day will be a thrilling expedition to a new corner of the world, where we'll discover unique artistic masterpieces, folk tales, festivals, and even some tasty treats! This class is perfect for curious minds who love creativity, storytelling, and adventure. It will spark a lifelong love of learning about our diverse and fantastic world. Let's go exploring!
There must be a minimum of 10 students enrolled in each session for the class to make. 

 

Archery by John Glenn

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
4th & 5th Grade Only.  
Learn how to shoot a compound bow and outdoor skills like tracking animals and identifying tracks and calls. We will also learn how to shoot and care for a compound bow safely. Students will shoot and score from 10 and 15 meters. They will also identify game calls of whitetail deer, elk, and turkey.  Limited to 12 participants.

Super Summer S.T.E.M. by Andrea Wilhelm & Angie Myers

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Only. 
Do you like to create, design, engineer, and use your imagination?  Come join us in our Super S.T.E.M. sessions filled with all of these things and more.

Session 1: Things that Float

Session 3: Sources of Energy (Wind & Water)
Session 4: Summer of 2025 Potato Olympics

Get Your Groove On by Jasmine Wright

Available: Session 2
2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Only
Get ready to move, groove, and sing your heart out in a high-energy class full of singing, dancing, instruments, and games! We'll learn fun songs, explore rhythm with hands-on instruments, and move to music with creative dance activities. Each day is packed with play, learning, and laughter. No experience needed, just bring your voice, your moves, and your imagination! 
There must be a minimum of 10 students enrolled in this session for the class to make. 

 

Plant Care and Creativity by Charli Shelton

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Dive into the world of plants and discover the art of planting, nurturing, and growing a variety of beautiful plants. In this engaging class, you'll learn essential gardening techniques while exploring fun activities such as painting flower pots and creating charming flower walks. Get ready to cultivate your green thumb and add a creative touch to your garden!
There must be a minimum of 10 students enrolled in each session for the class to make. 

 

Marvelous Movie Making by Steven Fletcher & Bill Glover

Available: This is a 1-month commitment. If you select this option, it will last all 4 sessions
2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Only
Come join us for the event of a lifetime! Over 4 weeks we will take a beloved Marvel Comic Book, produce a play and make a movie. Your role could be in front or behind the camera (or both). Such roles include: actor, stunt man, director, foley artist(sound effects), advertisement, poster artist, costume designer, props master, commercial maker, cue card maker, set design, special effects coordinator, video editor, and more! Please check out the performance and movie examples below.

Mini Musicals By Janna O’Conner & Lauren Wheeler

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Lights, Camera, Action! Come and take the stage in our Mini Musical Workshop!
Seussical, Music Man, Frog and Toad, and Squirm!
We'll put on a different show each week and will video the production to send to parents when the week is up. Please be advised that this video will be sent to all the parents who signed up for the session that week. If you do not want your student appearing on camera, please send us an email to let us know so that we can accommodate. Students will be assigned roles during the week and we will all work together to create an amazing performance!
When we aren't rehearsing, we'll be playing music games, having a snack, and many other fun activities!

Recycled Art by Linda Lyle

Available: Session 2, Session 3
Making art does not have to cost a lot of money...in fact did you know you can make art from just about anything?  Come and join our fun filled, creative space this summer and see just what you can do with a cardboard box (and much more)! 
We will be making an animal mask from cardboard, and collaging in the style of my friend, Michael Albert, a famous collage artist from New York (bring your cereal boxes for this one).  What about birds from Toilet paper rolls? Butterflies made from sticks? Sculptures from hangers and panty hose? The possibilities are endless!!  Come join us and see what a little creative thinking can do with things that many people have never imagined would be SO cool!

Poetry, Art, & Performance by Lindsey Fite

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Join me for a week of creative writing, crafting, and fun! We will explore the writing of famous poets like Maya Angelou, Shel Silverstein, and Roald Dahl. We will create our own poems, such as found poems, haikus, cinquains, shape poems, limericks, and acrostics. With every poem we write, we will use a variety of materials to make a craft. Our art will help our poems come to life! We will also investigate how to read poetry out loud with confidence and expression. Whether you already love to write, create, or perform, or whether you want to get better at these things, this session is perfect for you! I can't wait to explore the magic of creativity with you!

Creative Cooking by Helen Holt

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Are you interested in cooking? Do you love to cook? Join me this summer in making fun and scrumptious foods! This is a kids cooking class where they will learn to prepare kid friendly foods. I am so excited to begin this culinary adventure.  I hope to see you in the kitchen!

Hog Wild About Learning by Debra Wood

Available: Session 4
Have you ever wondered where your food comes from? How about your clothing? 
From a farm, of course! Let's spend a few days together learning all about Oklahoma farms and how we can't go a day at school without some kind of agriculture. Students will not only learn the value of Oklahoma agriculture, but they will have fun along the way as they participate in hands-on activities and projects about animals, yummy foods and gardening! Get ready, students will be going "hog wild" over these activities as they learn and experience the connection between agriculture and their daily lives.

Pottery Pals by Kathryn Wetmore

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3
3rd-5th Grade
It's time to get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing in our exciting pottery class! Students will learn basic pottery techniques like shaping, sculpting, and painting while making their very own clay masterpieces. Throughout the week, they'll create fun and unique projects they can proudly take home and show off. It's the perfect mix of learning and play, where imagination takes shape—literally! Come join us for a week of clay-filled fun and unforgettable art adventures.

Creative Writing by Hannah Rose

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Only
Calling all young storytellers! Join us this June for a fun writing adventure where your imagination takes the lead. Whether you're dreaming up epic heroes, magical lands, or sharing stories from your own life, this class will help you bring your ideas to life on the page. You do not need to be the best at spelling, or handwriting, or even reading! Stories are more than that! No tests, no pressure—just creativity, encouragement, and the power of your voice. We will be working through the Hero's Journey, one of the most popular story outlines. You do not need to prepare anything ahead of time. In our lessons, we will use pencils, notebooks, index cards, sticky notes, and technology (Chromebook/iPad). There will be daily projects to work on in class and at home.

Cardboard Crafting: Upcycling To Reimagine Our Favorite Stories by Caitlin Bell & Stephenie Rogers

Available: Session 1, Session 2, and Session 3
Do you love reading? Do you love crafting? Do you love oversized art that reimagines waste as a medium for creativity? Join us as we explore the intersection between literature and art by recreating some of our favorite pieces of writing as giant cardboard conceptualizations! Bring your own favorite book, poem, song, passage - anything with words, or use one of ours to exercise your creativity! As an added bonus, we’ll learn about upcycling and how we can use everyday items and augment them with supplementary materials to create something unique and fun for everyone!

Data Explorers: Learning Math Through Movement & Data by Minha Kim

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
3rd - 5th Grade
Do you like PE and Math? Come join us in becoming Data Explorers! You will be able to collect data by doing fun physical activity, then use the data to create charts/graphs by using symbols, fraction, decimals, and percentages. We will analyze our data and observe our progress together. By the end of the week, we would have a chance to have fun, collect and analyze data, and observe our progress.
There must be a minimum of 10 students enrolled in each session for the class to make. 

 

Farm To Table by Marlena Butler & Laura Scott

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
*Each session will be capped at 30 students per session*
In this interactive course, students will learn the importance of farming while growing their own plants and cooking foods. We will take our farm to the table with homemade foods while growing our knowledge in math, reading, science and economics. Students will learn how farms support our communities, how to grow their own ingredients in practical ways, and then how to use those ingredients in the kitchen.

Session 1: The Breakfast Club - We will bring the farm to table with breakfast foods this week.
Session 2: Lunch Bunch - We will bring the farm to table with lunch foods this week.
Session 3: Snack, Crackle, Pop - We will bring the farm to table with snack foods this week.
Session 4: This week takes the cake - We will bring the farm to table with dessert foods this week.

Cultures Around The Globe by Carrie Wilson

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Discover the world in our exciting elementary school class, “Cultures Around the Globe,” where students explore different countries through music, food, language, and traditions. Each week, students will “travel” to a new country and learn through hands-on activities, stories, and creative projects. This class encourages curiosity, and a love for global learning.
There must be a minimum of 10 students enrolled in each session for the class to make. 

 

Cardboard Play by Sarah Butler

Available: Session 2
Ages 9-12 Only
Collaborative and individual projects and exploration encouraging children to be creative and use recycled materials.

Fiber Art by Sarah Butler

Available: Session 3
Ages 9-12 Only
Artist will develop the skills needed for basic hand sewing, weaving, and needle felting in 2D and 3D.

Printmaking by Sarah Butler

Available: Session 4
Ages 9-12 Only
Artist will explore printmaking with gelli plates, linoleum blocks, screen printing, and other experimental printmaking techniques.

Running Club by Krista Setser

Available: Session 1, Session 2, Session 3, Session 4
Get ready to move, groove, and have fun this summer with our Summer Striders Running Club! Open to all elementary students, this program is the perfect way to stay active, make new friends, and build confidence through movement.
