🐮✨Snazzy visits Chyenne! Family and Consumer Science students at Cheyenne Middle School braved the cold to learn all about careers in agriculture, dairy farming and what key nutrients can be found in cow’s milk. Thanks to Southwest Dairy Farms for bringing Snazzy by for a visit.🥛

🏺To wrap up Native American Heritage month, we wanted to spotlight one last video that our Indian Education department has created. Prospective teachers from @ucobronchos headed to Ida Freeman elementary and spent one-on-one time with students doing math activities. This event allows student teachers to share the excitement of learning with young students! 📊📏#EPSleads

💡Another successful day of SuperSAC is in the books! Dr. Grunewald and other district administrators met with high schoolers from Memorial, Boulevard Academy, Santa Fe and North. The students shared their suggestions and thoughts about school. Administrators are excited to put students’ ideas into action!

🍎Many of our schools participated in food drives this Thanksgiving season. Charles Haskell Elementary students helped bring in 1,599 items, which provided 75 Thanksgiving meals to families in need!

Redbud Elementary third graders had the pleasure of watching our EPS Indian Education students perform traditional Native American dances and songs. Our Indian Education students did a fantastic job showcasing the beauty of Native American tradition and heritage. #EPSleads

Today was SuperSAC at Cimarron. Each month, Dr. Grunewald gathers middle or high school students from across the district to get their ideas on how to improve the EPS experience. The Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee gives district administrators a chance to learn more about what's going well and what changes they'd like to see. It's an afternoon everyone looks forward to each month! #EPSleads

On Veterans Day, we join in reflecting on the sacrifices, dedication and heroism of our Veterans. We are so grateful for those in the EPS community who have served our country. Earlier this month, hundreds of EPS student musicians performed a patriotic-themed concert at the 33rd annual All-City Orchestra. We were also thrilled to have the 145th National Guard Army Brass Quintet perform in the lobby as guests entered. The quintet later joined the orchestra for the playing of military branch service songs and an exciting finale of Oklahoma! #EPSleads #VeteransDay
