The deadline to retroactively qualify for Summer 2022 Pandemic Electronic Benefits (P-EBT) is Wednesday, August 31. P-EBT is a program that allows eligible school children to receive temporary emergency nutrition benefits loaded on electronic cards that are used to purchase food.
If a parent/guardian completes a free or reduced-price meal application by August 31 (or, completed one in July) and that meal application is approved for free or reduced-price meals, they will be eligible for Summer 2022 P-EBT benefits retroactively when files are sent to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) in October. OKDHS administers the program through funding provided by a federal grant.
