kindergarten class dressed as community helpers

The kindergarten students at Scissortail have been studying community helpers. They were lucky to have the opportunity to meet and talk with helpers from our very own community!

Monday, the students were introduced to Dr. Kathryn Kramer and learned about laparoscopic procedures used to keep mothers and babies safe-wow!

Tuesday, former student of staff members and Nurse Evan Oldham talked to the kinder kids about the importance of making healthy choices. They were given homework to wash hands and drink water!

Wednesday, Officer Fanny Seshie reminded the group about stranger danger. They were able to ask her questions about her job and even tour the police vehicle!

Thank you to our community for supporting young learners!
