These students really are stellar! 💫 High schoolers from Memorial and North recently traveled to Denver to compete at StellarXplorers Nationals. The teams competed in an 8 hour competition round where they designed a future space mission to collect Earth shattering data from celestial bodies. Then, they optimized orbits, designed the satellite, and selected the rocket that would carry their mission to the stars. Lastly, they presented their solution to industry leaders and took an academic exam to demonstrate their knowledge of the aerospace profession. North placed 2nd and Memorial placed in the top 10 out of 300 teams! Congratulations to our huskies and our bulldogs! We are so proud! 🚀✨ #EPSleads

CENTRAL PRINCIPAL TIGERS Brittany VanCleave Mrs. VanCleave has been an administrator at Edmond North High School for the past three years. She has deep roots in Edmond as a student, teacher, coach and an assistant principal. Mrs. VanCleave's desire to serve all students and her experience working with several districts around the state, while at the K20 Center, has given her the tools to meet students where they are and guide them to their next chapter. She is excited to move to Central where she will collaborate to prepare our students for high school and lead the TIGERS
CIMARRON PRINCIPAL Kyle Harrison Mr. Harrison has been the head principal at Orvis Risner Elementary for the past three years so he is no stranger to the Memorial vertical. DIRECTOR OF ELEMENTARY EDUCATION Michele Milner Mrs. Milner is a veteran EPS administrator. She has spent the past 11 years as head principal of Northern Hills Elementary and was a principal in Purcell for five years before that. One of her specialties is growing teachers and she will be putting that to use in her new role as she helps mentor our elementary principals and assistant principals. Mrs. Milner will work with Executive Director of Elementary, Dr. Cara Jernigan, to lead our elementary leadership teams
